The only way to make your union stronger is to get involved.  You can do this by helping to build our executive committee where we still have vacancies for Disability Rep, Media and Communications Officer and Policy Officer.

One area that we urgently need more members involved in is on equality and diversity issues. If you are interested in becoming a disability rep or supporting our branch equalities officer, please email ucu@cardiff.ac.uk. We also need help with media/communications and policy .

Other ways that you can help are by being part of a working group or taking on a role as a department rep. If you’re interested in any of these roles, or want to help but don’t know how, please contact our branch organiser Sally Buffard (SBuffard@ucu.org.uk), or any of the member of the Executive Committee.
