Governance and Finance Working Group
The Governance and Finance Working Group has been established to address key issues related to:
- University governance structures
- Decision-making processes and procedures
- Compliance with Charity Commission guidance
- Exploration of UCU Cymru and Medr-facilitated social partnership
- Democratisation of university structures
- University finances and financial modelling for transformation projects
- Pensions
- Monitoring of expenses, including senior management expense claims
- Adherence to the university’s charitable aims
as well as other governance and finance-related matters.
This group is committed to promoting transparency in the university’s operations and ensuring that management is held accountable where necessary. It will bring together experts in governance, social partnership, finance, and pensions to provide the necessary expertise for addressing issues within its remit.
