DESCRIPTION:The Governance and Finance Working Group has been established to address key issues related to: \n\nUniversity governance structures\nDecision-making processes and procedures\nCompliance with Charity Commission guidance\nExploration of UCU Cymru and Medr-facilitated social partnership\nDemocratisation of university structures\nUniversity finances and financial modelling for transformation projects\nPensions\nMonitoring of expenses\, including senior management expense claims\nAdherence to the university’s charitable aims\n\nas well as other governance and finance-related matters. \nThis group is committed to promoting transparency in the university’s operations and ensuring that management is held accountable where necessary. It will bring together experts in governance\, social partnership\, finance\, and pensions to provide the necessary expertise for addressing issues within its remit. \nThe group’s first meeting will be on the 20th of November at 2pm.
